I would respond gladly to Universal Music Day but I have a ticket to go to Mexico for the entire month of Oct.  I am going to learn Spanish and do some work on projects.   However, I do recall when I was in junior high and a typical junior high person, the music teacher played the Peer (sp?) Gynt suite for us and I was hooked on “classical” music forever.  Yes, the dimension of music makes a life fuller. ~ Sally M., Clearwater, FL

“There’s magic in names and here’s an abecedary of wonderful names of wonderful things—instruments for making music from all around the world. Who, reading these incantatory names and seeing the beautiful pictures, would not be drawn into the universally enriching world of music?” —J.W. McPherson, Headmaster, The American School in Switzerland
